Q&A:
Should I pick more bowlers, batsmen or all-rounders?
It is a contest between two teams who are going through a contrasting turn of events as far as results are concerned. While Team Bangalore have qualified for the Indian T20 League 2021 playoffs with 8 wins and 4 defeats in 12 matches giving them 16 points, Team Hyderabad are out of the race for the final four and are also currently languishing at the bottom of the Indian T20 League 2021 points table with only 2 wins in 12 matches and 10 defeats. It has been a season full of disappointment and dejection for Team Hyderabad, but what is more worrying is the fact that they do not have a single player who can be pointed out as the one in form and can lead their charge on the field, either with the bat or with the ball. Team Hyderabad will be facing the might of Team Bangalore’s batting lineup which is why it will be wise to add more to the batting department for this match.
From which team should I pick more players in my XI? Which team is stronger?
After enduring a horrendous season on and off the field, Team Hyderabad are left with no other choice but to bring out the best from the current combination of players that they have. Interestingly, their best batsman and the most decorated player in the Orange colours, David Warner, was dropped from the side with the management claiming that Team Hyderabad will be able to find better balance as far as the team composition is concerned. But irrespective of whatever they have done, Team Hyderabad have found disappointment in this Indian T20 League 2021 season. As things stand, Team Hyderabad are certainly not a match against third-placed Team Bangalore, who are performing at the top of their levels and have found a place in the Indian T20 League 2021 playoffs for the second year running. Team Bangalore should have more players featuring in the playing XI since they are the stronger side.
MORE INFORMATION: Team Bangalore were the third team in this year’s Indian T20 League 2021 to have qualified for the playoffs round with Team Chennai and Delhi being the other two. However, there is still a lot of cricket to be played particularly given the fact that the order of the top four teams in Indian T20 League 2021 is yet to be decided and each of these teams would want to finish at least in the top two. If Team Bangalore are able to win the remaining two matches — against Team Hyderabad and then against Delhi — they can get to the second spot also provided that Team Chennai are beaten by Punjab. Kohlii’s Team Bangalore would want to continue with their great form both with the bat and the ball and keep producing unified efforts in translating into team performance.
Players’ form: It is unfortunate but then, it is what it is. There is not a single player in the Team Hyderabad camp who can be described as the one carrying form and can lead their fight. Team Hyderabad are without two of their best batsmen at the top in Jonny Bairstow and Warner, whereas Kane Williamson is yet to make runs in the magnitude of these two players. In comparison to Team Hyderabad, it is Team Bangalore who have almost all of their batsmen in form and their bowlers chipping in with vital breakthroughs and performances that have helped them garner a lot of victories and happy memories in this Indian T20 League 2021 season, which also happens to be the last as captain for Kohlii.

Team Bangalore eye big win against hapless Team Hyderabad
It is a contest between a team which is performing at the top of its skills and abilities, and the other which is struggling to find its feet. Team Hyderabad had hoped that the change in leadership and the arrival of Williamson as their full-time captain will spark a change in their fortunes on the field, but it has only gone worse from the time they decided to remove Warner as their captain.
English explosive batsman Jason Roy began his Indian T20 League 2021 stint with Team Hyderabad with a bang, hitting 60 in what turned out to be a match-winning innings in only the second victory for the Team Hyderabad side in this Indian T20 League 2021. Since then, neither Roy has been able to make runs that have mattered or Team Hyderabad have been able to clinch another victory, while they have faced as many as 10 defeats in this season.
Team Hyderabad are out of the race for a place in the Indian T20 League 2021 playoffs for which Team Bangalore have qualified, but they are yet to finalise their standing with a few important matches left for all teams.
If Team Bangalore are able to beat both Team Hyderabad on Wednesday night and then Delhi later in the week, they can move up to the second spot in the Indian T20 League 2021 points table provided if Team Chennai suffer a defeat against Punjab.
To their credit, Team Hyderabad have been able to bring a lot of exciting young talent and have also given them plenty of opportunities. The likes of Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma continue to bat ahead of the experienced international players in Jason Holder and Rashid Khan, who both are match-winners in their own right. Team Hyderabad’s new find in the form of Umran Malik looks very promising with the right-arm fast bowler producing a lot of pace on bland wickets in the UAE.
In the bowling department, while Rashid has been among wickets as always, there aren’t many players who inspire confidence and are promising enough at the stage of Indian T20 League 2021 to have any sort of major impact on the outcome of matches. Team Hyderabad, thus, will be looking for a strong performance in all departments against a rampant Team Bangalore.
With plenty of batsmen in form and their bowlers creating new memories, particularly the uncapped player in Harshal Patel, Team Bangalore are priming just at the right time for Indian T20 League 2021 players. They did make it to the final four stage at the fourth position in Indian T20 League 2021 2020, but could not go beyond one knockout match, which is why Kohlii’s Team Bangalore will want to finish in the top two so that there is some sort of insurance for a bad night — if there is one in the knockouts round.
