Q & A:
Fantasy tips and tricks: Should I pick more bowlers, batsmen or all-rounders?
In the last four matches played here at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, teams, irrespective of batting first or second in the match, have scored at least 170 runs which implies that this pitch is perfect for batsmen and for someone who is selecting a fantasy cricket playing XI, should add more batsman to the side. The pitch, however, will be challenging for bowlers of all kinds as it has been difficult to contain the opposition batsmen for almost every bowling attack which has played at this venue. The Brabourne Stadium is hosting the contest between Delhi and Punjab, which was originally slated to be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune owing to five coronavirus cases in the Delhi camp.
Fantasy tips: From which team should I pick more players in my XI? Which team is stronger?
This is a contest between teams who are yet to find their mojo on the cricket field as they have produced mixed results so far, and resultantly are languishing in the 7th and 8th spots of the points table for the Indian T20 Cricket League 2022. Punjab have so far recorded 3 victories in 6 matches while losing the rest whereas Delhi have only 2 wins to show from 5 matches with their Net Run Rate also being better than that of the Mayank Agarwal-led team. Both Delhi and Punjab lost their respective last matches in the Indian T20 Cricket League 2022 tournament, and therefore, for those who are going to create fantasy cricket playing 11 for this contest, there should be an equal number of players from both the teams.
MORE INFORMATION: Delhi and Punjab will be slightly disappointed with the way the Indian T20 Cricket League 2022 season has panned out for them so far. The disappointment, however, will be more in the camp of Delhi who have not been able to put up convincing performances so far despite having all their players available to them. They have been hit by coronavirus but not many players seem to be affected by it so far. At the same time, and Punjab have looked overly dependent on a a few specific players and they are yet to produce a consolidated effort. Liam Livingstone and is vital for Punjab both with the bat and the ball as witnessed in the previous match, wherein they took field without their regular captain Mayank Agarwal and lost Shikhar Dhawan for cheap — a scenario that truly tested their bench strength and the ability of the others to perform when it matters the most.
PLAYERS’ FORM: For Delhi, their opening pair of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw carry a lot of responsibility as both these batsmen have been in form and have also been able to provide strong starts in the last couple of matches. David Warner has eased into the role of an opening batsman for Delhi after spending plenty of years in the leadership role at Hyderabad while garnering a lot of success — something that he looks set to emulate in his new franchise. On the other hand, the form of Rishabh Pant is also crucial since they need an experienced batsmen in the middle-order, especially with Mitchell Marsh out of action due to the coronavirus. With the ball, Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav have been the strength of Delhi as these two players will continue to be vital cogs for their side. For Punjab, the likes of Jitesh Sharma, Jonny Bairstow, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Chahar and Kagiso Rabada will be expected to fire.

Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (c&wk), Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed.

Delhi, Punjab in search for big win
Delhi and Punjab will be in search of a victory by a heavy margin on Wednesday night when they face off in the Match No 32 of the ongoing Indian T20 Cricket League 2022.
The contest will be played at the grand old Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday night, with the organisers forced to change the venue of the contest as the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune was originally slated to host this match.
The reason for the change is the outbreak of coronavirus cases in the Delhi camp, with the star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh being the latest casualty as the total number of cases in the squad are said to be five.
The Delhi squad members who were found coronavirus positive are Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, the former team India coach Patrick Farhart, massage therapist Chethan Kumar, team doctor Abhijit Salvi and social media content team member Akash Mane. The team has confirmed that Mitchell Marsh has been hospitalised.
According to reports, Delhi players will have to undergo an RT-PCR test on the morning of the match day, i.e. Wednesday, in order to play the contest in the night. In case if the match is not able to take place in the evening, the contest for April 20 will be rescheduled.
Mitchell Marsh played for Delhi in the contest against Bangalore and scored 14 before he was run out in a contest where the Delhi batsmen did their best with David Warner scoring 68, but ending on the losing side as they lost the match by 16 runs.
The form of their bowlers Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav will be vital for Delhi in order to bounce back from a disappointing defeat against Bangalore in their previous match, whereas at the same time, Punjab will be hurting from their loss against Hyderabad in which they looked in control at least at the innings break.
For Punjab, it is imperative to put out collective efforts, something that has not happened so far.
