Liverpool (LIV) will face arch-rivals Manchester United (MUN) at Old Trafford in the rearranged English Premier League (EPL) fixture. Jurgen Klopp’s side, who grabbed a comfortable 2-0 win against Southampton on Sunday, needs three points to keep their top-four hopes alive. Meanwhile, Manchester United will be keen to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Leicester City at home. They just need three points from the remaining three games to secure the second spot.
Cavani the poacher
Edinson Cavani, signed on a free transfer, has emerged as Manchester United’s best signing of the season. The 34-year-old, who scored nine goals and assisted two goals in the league so far, has come to Manchester United’s aid plenty of times this season. Cavani is expected to feature in the playing 11 against Liverpool and could make the difference for the Red Devils.
The incredible Salah
He may not have scored in the 2-0 win over Southampton, but Mohamed Salah left his mark in the match. The forward set up Liverpool’s opening goal and gave a torrid time for Southampton defenders. Salah is the second-highest goalscorer this season, scoring 20 goals so far. The Maguire-less Manchester United backline has a stern test, and the Egyptian could come on top at Old Trafford yet again.
