After a disappointing outing in South Africa, India will lock horns with West Indies in a white-ball series at home. The Men in Blue is yet to register a win in 2022 as they lost a Test match and three ODIs in South Africa. Meanwhile, West Indies made a poor start to the new year after suffering a defeat at the hands of Ireland in the ODI series. But the Caribbean outfit clinched a 3-2 win over England in the recently concluded T20I series.
Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the three ODIs, while the two teams will head to Kolkata for the T20I fixtures. The two sides last met in 2019, and India won both T20I and ODI series. Also, the hosts haven’t lost a white-ball series against West Indies since 2016.
