Each player in rummy receives 13 cards from the regular 52-card deck, which they must arrange into all possible sequences, sets, or sets and sequences. Players must be familiar with all rummy rules and make a legitimate proclamation before their opponents.
For a hand or declaration to be considered valid, at least two sequences must be produced. Additionally, at least one of the two sequences must be pure. 2 sets plus 2 sequences 1 set plus 3 sequences
Sequences of cards are placed face up.
After the cards are dealt to the players, a wild card is chosen randomly. The joker card and wild card can be used in place of the appropriate card to generate sets and impure sequences.
